Worker's Studio is built around doing as much as possible on your own device, rather than on our servers. This page explains what little data we do collect, and why.
Your files and input
Every tool on this site — PDF, image, text, drawing, and calculator tools alike — processes your files and content entirely inside your browser. Files you upload and text or numbers you type are processed on your own device and are never sent to, received by, or stored on our servers.
Usage tracking
If you choose to sign in with Google, we record which tools you've used and how often, so you can see your own history on your account page. The aggregate, site-wide view and visitor counts shown in the footer are computed from a random identifier stored in your browser — it isn't tied to your account, and we don't use it to build a profile of you or to track you across other websites.
Anonymous visit analytics
To understand how the site is used, each page view also records: the page path, your approximate country and region (derived by our host from your IP address — the IP address itself is not stored), a coarse device type (desktop/mobile/tablet), the website that referred you (domain only) or the utm_source in the link, your browser language, and how long the page stayed in the foreground. These are stored against the same random browser identifier, never your name, email, or account, are used only in aggregate to improve the tools, and are deleted after 90 days. If you search the homepage for something no tool matches, that search text (and nothing identifying you) is also counted so we know which tools to build next. We also keep anonymous, site-wide counts of how often each tool is opened, started, and finished, and of how often the sign-in and “Add to home screen” prompts are shown and clicked, and how often each site on the friendly-links page is clicked. If something goes wrong in a tool, an anonymized error message (web addresses, email addresses and file names are stripped out first) and your browser's page-load speed measurements are logged as well. None of this includes the contents of your files or inputs.
Account data
Using the tools doesn't require signing in; Google sign-in is optional. If you choose to sign in, we receive and store your email address, which identifies your account so we can record the tools you've used.
Newsletter subscription
If you enter your email into a tool page's "subscribe for updates" box, we store that email address to send occasional updates about new tools. You can ask us to remove it at any time by contacting mindwalkmo@gmail.com.
Payment and order data
Online donations are handled by Airwallex. We only store the payment reference and its status (e.g. succeeded), never your card number or other sensitive payment details — those are handled entirely by Airwallex. If you buy from the digital downloads shop, we store the order number, what you bought, the amount, the payment status, download counts and your email address (the delivery email you typed, if you weren't signed in), to confirm payment and to send the order confirmation, payment reminders and download links. FPS payments are made in your own bank; on our side we only see the payer name, amount and payment note in our account's records.
Contact form
If you send a message through the form on the Contact page, we store the message, its type, the tool name you entered and (if given) your email address, to handle and reply to it, and the message is forwarded to the owner's inbox.
Third-party services
The service relies on Supabase (authentication, database and shop file storage), Airwallex (online donations), Google (optional sign-in), Resend (order and notification emails) and Vercel (hosting), each of which has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.
Cookies & local storage
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember an anonymous session and your chosen language, and remember your light/dark preference, the tools you used recently, the items you've picked in the shop, and how often the “Add to home screen” prompt has been shown — all for the site's own features, never for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Data retention
We keep account, usage and newsletter data for as long as your account exists or you stay subscribed, until you ask us to delete it. Shop orders are kept as transaction records; anonymous visit analytics are deleted after 90 days; contact-form messages can be deleted at your request once handled.
Your rights
You can contact mindwalkmo@gmail.com at any time to access or delete the data we hold about you (account, usage history, newsletter subscription, contact-form messages or order data; for paid orders we may need to keep the transaction record, but we'll remove any personal data that isn't needed).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
